Slonimer Chassidim in Emanuel on Tuesday held a dinner, a hakoras hatov event to say thank you to Deputy Minister Meir Porush for his tenacious efforts throughout the Emanuel affair. After completing a mesechta, there were words of praise and thanks, for his non-yielding fight on behalf of chareidi chinuch, standing firm against Israel’s secular Supreme Court.

Yitzchak Weinberg had special words of praise for Porush’s HaMevaser newspaper, and the deputy minister was presented with a scroll to express the sentiment of the Slonim community.
