Beit Shemesh Residents Complain Over Water Outage

Hundreds of families on Beit Shemesh’s Rav Herzog Street complained that their water was turned off on Tuesday without prior warning. They explain angrily this is not the first time that have endured water outages, and as they are instructed to do, they immediately telephoned the city ‘moked’ dispatcher, but no one even picked up the phone.

HaMevaser reports receiving requests from residents, calling on the paper to contact city’s spokesman Matityahu Rozensweig, to elicit a response. It appears in the latest water outage, a contractor in the area struck and fractured an area water main, resulting in the disruption of water service for a number of hours.
