Police assigned to the Tiveria police station on Tuesday were dispatched to the Rova Daled neighborhood of the city to search a storage facility. To their surprise, they found two live 105mm tank shells.

Tiveria Police Chief Eli Fartouk explains they received a credible tip that stolen merchandise was being stored in the facility, prompting the search.

It appears the tank shells and many other items were being stored on the premises by a 37-year-old Nazareth resident with business ties to Brazil.

The businessman was taken into custody and questioned by police, who are seeking to determine the origin of the tank rockets.
