State Minister for Media Affairs and Communications Nabil Al Sharif said on Tuesday that the government had received from Israeli authorities passports of a number of activists who were on board the Gaza Freedom Flotilla.
Al Sharif, who is also the government’s spokesperson, said a representative from the Jordanian Embassy in Tel Aviv received 7 Jordanian passports, four Algerian, one Omani, one Pakistani, one Indonesian, one Kuwaiti, one Bahraini, and one Moroccan.
The passports, he said, will be sent to the Foreign Ministry to be given to the activists, adding the foreign ministry was continuing its contacts to find the remaining two Jordanian passports.
