ACRI (Association for Civil Rights in Israel) has petitioned the High Court of Justice on behalf of residents of the eastern capital, explaining the Arab residents are not receiving postal services including mail delivery as in the Jewish areas of the city and country.

The petitioners explain that the area lacks a sorting and distribution center, and the mail simply does not reach residents as they are entitled, demanding court intervention towards rectifying this injustice.
