In the Tuesday morning confrontation between Beit El youths and agents of the IDF Civil Administration, some 20 youths were injured along with a policeman. Three youths were arrested.

According to an Arutz-7 report, the agents destroyed a shack that was built in recent weeks as a protest to the ongoing construction freeze. The demolition was carried out without incident, but the youths blocked the road, interfering with agents trying to leave. Police moved in with teargas and used batons against the unarmed youths.

As the agents were still in Beit El, the youths began the task of rebuilding the structure, using the existing concrete floor which was not destroyed.

A police spokesman explained some of the youths tried to puncture the tires of official vehicles.
