This week’s international political stir begins with a delegation of members of the European Parliament denied entry to Hamas-controlled Gaza from southern Israel, in keeping with Israel’s embargo policy on the terrorist regime.
The parliamentarians were compelled to enter Gaza via the Rafiach Crossing from Egypt, resulting in the EU officials releasing a harsh anti-Israel statement to the media.
Seven Americans who are part of a delegation of the American Association for International Concern also were compelled to use the Rafiach Crossing when they tried entering into Gaza on Friday.
The MPs from the European Parliament are on what they call a “humanitarian mission” in Gaza, planning to spend a number of days. Israel however remains firm in its refusal to permit foreign officials to enter Gaza, explaining such a move only serves to legitimize the current Hamas terrorist regime.
