Zaka head Yehuda Meshi-Zahav was among the many notables who commented on Sunday’s removal of bones from the Barzilai Hospital construction site.
Meshi-Zahav, a former Eida Chareidis operations officer, had harsh words for the organization’s performance without mentioning it by name. He made reference to the protests against the operating of the Karta parking lot on shabbos by the Jerusalem Municipality, stating those protests were run by “hooligans and children”. He did not spare the words of criticism for the chareidi community and its handling of protests, which he feels have lost public support.
Regarding the response of police, Meshi-Zahav compared the actions of police to Gush Katif, calling it “bad”.
