Citing a jurisdictional matter, the High Court of Justice on Sunday rejected a petition filed by members of the left-wing Meretz Party seeking to compel the sealing of the upper floors of Beit Yehonatan, the controversial residential building in the Shiloach area of the capital.

The court indicated that since the matter was already adjudicated, and that demolition orders have been issued, even though they haven’t been carried out the matter does not fall under the jurisdiction of the high court. The court referred the petitioners to the Jerusalem Administrative Court.
