Two yeshiva bochrim walking in a park near the Beit Shemesh water tower were attacked by eight thugs on Monday night. They were beaten all over their bodies, thrown to the ground and pelted them with rocks. According to the HaMevaser report, they made their way to the area Terem emergency room clinic where one passed out but they refused transport to a hospital.

The victim who passed out seems to have suffered a concussion and he was transported to Shaare Zedek Medical Center a number of hours later after realizing the symptoms.

Fortunately for the two, a number of passers-by frightened away their attackers. Police were summoned, with the victims reporting the response was poor, only arriving much later, at Terem, where they gave police their statements regarding the unprovoked attack.
