A 30-year-old Ashkelon resident, Moshe K., is charged with breaking into 10 shuls in Kiryat Malachi and Sderot. He was apprehended after breaking into breaking into the Amram Abuchatzera Shul on Kibbutz Galiot Street in Kiryat Malachi.
Police apprehended him while in possession of burglary tools, reporting in some case he cut through protective window bars and in other cases, breaking door locks.
The 10-count indictment which includes the break-ins and stealing tzedaka funds cites the crimes were perpetrated during April and May.
