The head of the Tel Aviv City Hall inspection unit was targeted in a Sunday morning bomb attack as his vehicle blew up on Holon’s Arlosoroff Street.

At 6:45am, Shoteh Choval opened the door to get into the car when the bomb went off, resulting in damage but there were no reports of injuries.

Choval returned to his senior position a number of months ago following a suspension that followed suspicions that he was involved in corruption.
