Shai District police are investigating no less than four fires in a five-day period in the Chevron Jewish Cemetery, suspecting arson.

Fire inspectors are expected to arrive on the scene on Sunday in the hope of gathering evidence that may assist in the case.

Chevron community leaders are calling on police to make the case a priority and bring the responsible persons to justice, expressing outrage of repeated attacks against the cemetery.
