According to the Jerusalem District chief psychiatrist, murder suspect Yaakov Teital, who has become known as the “Jewish terrorist” is unfit to stand trial on charges of murder and attempted murder. The official medical report will be presented to the Jerusalem District Court on Wednesday.

The 37-year-old Shomron resident was hit with a 14-count indictment last year, including two counts of murder as well as being linked to a bombing attack and conspiracy to kill others. He allegedly killed two Arabs as well as targeting left-wing Jews in his alleged crimes. At present, he remains hospitalized and is receiving treatment. A second psychiatric opinion is also be prepared for the court.
