VIDEO: Arab MK Tibi Eulogizes Neturei Karta Leader Moshe Hirsch

[VIDEO OF HIRSCH KISSING ARAFAT POSTED BELOW] MK (Ta’al – Ra’am) Dr. Ahmed Tibi eulogized the late Rabbi Moshe Hirsh, who was niftar earlier this week in Jerusalem’s Bikur Cholim Hospital. Hirsh, a dedicated leader of Neturei Karta was also a former Minister of Jewish Affairs in the government of Yasser Arafat.

Tibi stated that while he never met with him personally he is aware that officials in Arafat’s office respected him, his genuine concern and willing to undertake his post even during the years of the intifada.

When asked by Chadrei Chareidim just how the mainstream regarded Hirsh, Tibi explained that people were aware that he represented a small faction and his views were a minority. The people understood his objections to Zionism and racism, and therefore, he was well-regarded.

Tibi stated that he is certain there was a personal relationship between Hirsch and Arafat, adding he is unaware if anyone is in line to take his place, but those wishing to establish a relationship with the PA (Palestinian Authority) would be received with open arms.

When asked to comment on current peace prospects, Tibi stated he does envision peace one day in the future, but not with the present Israeli administration.

  1. What scares me more than anything is that he really thought he was doing what was right in the eyes of Hashem. Oh how much tzar he must be in now….

  2. To all of you, who might ignore the Halocho of Loshon Horah, which is worse to talk about a deceased person this is #1, then #2, try to remember that the Chofetz Chaim writes, whoever talks about an individual derogatory and ill about him, gives that individual all his merits, torah learning etc and in exchange takes on himself all negative and chas veshalom so called “ill” of that individual. So think before you talk, and let’s first make sure we have a clean slate and are we so perfect and elitist that we can afford speaking ill of anyone, especially of a deceased!

  3. #6.. there are halachos of that.. especially since he was denounced by so many. He might not have the halacha of a jew being that he was so traitorous.

This guy was worse that the zionists he claimed to hate so much.. What kind of man shakes hands with someone responsible for sooo many jewish deaths.

  4. to # 8. Before denouncing or talking about a person, we have to try to either bring it to the persons attention with tochacha etc,…did you? as far as Gedolim or so, let them handle it, and I do not see any Gedolim voice their opinion on YWN, and Hashem hasn’t asked us to judge or talk about anyone, but what HE did ask is to better our own ways and make sure we do the right thing, and we all have what do work on, so lets get busy with that!
