President Robert Mugabe welcomed Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad with open arms last week upon his arrival in Zimbabwe. The two countries have engaged in a number of joint ventures towards advancing water management, agricultural and mining ventures, but what has the international community concerned is the uranium deal that will facilitate Iran’s quest for nuclear independence.
It has been learned that last month, Iran’s Minister of State and Presidential Affairs Didymus Multase visited Zimbabwe, a nation that is in need of oil. Behind closed doors, a deal was made by which Iran will supply oil, which it has in abundance, in exchange for exclusive uranium rights from Zimbabwe.
The deal represents a major victory for Ahmadinejad, who continues to defy the international community and sanctions, committed to becoming a nuclear power in the near future.

Since Zimbabwe is landlocked, they’ll need some other countries to cooperate in shipping.
