An Irish tourist was shot and seriously wounded on Friday after he tried to stab a policeman and a number of others near the Church of the Holy Sepulcher in Yerushalayim. He was remanded for an additional 10 days in absentia, as he remains in an intensive care unit in Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital as a result of his wounded. There were no other injuries reported in the attempted attack.
