If not for the fact that an infant was in the infant stolen from the Har Gilo area near the Tunnel Highway on Friday, the story would not be newsworthy since PA residents stealing Israeli-owned vehicles in ‘Israel proper’ is a commonplace occurrence.
The Beit Shemesh couple arrived in two separate vehicles, with mom transporting the couple’s infant daughter. They got out of the vehicles were they met, with mom leaving the engine running. A PA (Palestinian Authority) resident who happened to be passing by could not resist temptation, seizing the opportunity and driving off with the car and their daughter.
The alarmed parents summoned police, who managed to track the vehicle by its GPS alarm system, in a PA autonomous area near el-Hader in Yehuda. News reports indicate officials were on the scene quickly, and the vehicle was abandoned, apparently after the thief realized there was a baby onboard. The infant was unharmed.
Despite the quick actions of police, the thieves did manage to take all the personal items from the vehicle including the bag of diapers along with an unspecified number of parts.

I hope they were used diapers!!
1. “an infant was in the infant” Wow, they start early!
2. “Despite the quick actions of police, the thieves did manage to take all the personal items from the vehicle including the bag of diapers along with an unspecified number of parts” First of all, reg, it says a bag of diapers which probably means they weren’t used! Second of all (and this is not regarding reg), it says an unspecified number of parts. Parts of what?
“unspecified number of parts”
obviously from the bag of [used] diapers
