11:22AM IL: Two rockets were fired in the Gulf of Eilat area a short time ago. One of the rockets fell in Aqaba, not in Israel. IDF sources report that the rockets were not fired by the IDF. The source of the rocket fire is being investigated at this time. There are no reports of injuries or damage.

11:34AM IL: Officials report the rocket fire appears to have originated in Sinai. It seems the second rocket landed in the water, but this has not been established with absolute certainty. The IDF is not responding with return fire at this time. An investigation into the incident is underway as troops in the area are responding in accordance with protocol. 

11:53AM IL: Jordanian officials have informed Israel that a katyusha rocket exploded in Aqaba.
