State officials deny efforts to cut a deal with Shula Zaken as a state witness in the Holyland affair.

**The juvenile arrested by police at Yitzhar on Tuesday night, suspected of slashing the tires of a military vehicle, was remanded by the Petach Tikvah Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday.

**MK Dr. Ahmed Tibi calls on the United States to stop reprimanding Israel and to begin pressuring Jerusalem to adhere to its policy decisions.

**A mortar round was found in a Ramle trash receptacle. It was neutralized without incident. Police are investigating.

**The High Court of Justice rejected a petition filed by the Settlement Council seeking to have the government’s construction freeze declared illegal. The court stated the 10-month freeze is legal and binding.

**Knesset Law Committee chairman MK (Yisrael Beitenu) Dudu Rotem stated that a delegation of Israeli Arab MKs traveling to meet with the leader is a “slap in the face to Israel to Israeli citizens” since Kaddafi a staunch enemy of Israel and does not maintain diplomatic relations with Jerusalem.

**Deputy Foreign Minister Danny Ayalon stated pressuring Israel will not contribute to peace but cause peace efforts to fail.

**FM Avigdor Lieberman is traveling to Spain to meet with state officials.
