Egyptian security officials quoted by the PA’s Maan News Agency report ten smuggling tunnels connecting Rafiach to Gaza were uncovered in eight homes. The report states the homes belong to civilians living along the border.

Troops were sent to the area, acting on a credible tip, reporting they found car parts items in the tunnels.
