The terrorist who murdered Rabbi Miki Mark HY”D was sentenced to two life sentences by the IDF Judea Court on Wednesday, 16 Adar.
Muhammed al-Ameira is the terrorist who opened fire on the rav’s vehicle on Route 60 in the Southern Hebron Hills area, near Otniel. Rabbi Mark was traveling with his family on erev Shabbos when the fatal shots rang out. Mrs. Chavi Mark was seriously wounded in the attack. The court also ordered he pay the family 250,000 shekels in reparations. The second terrorist in the attack was shot and killed.
Al-Ameira’s home was already destroyed by the IDF in the summer of 2016.
