Masked bandits arrived at the home of a well-known man, who runs a gemach. They came to his home on Yerushalayim’s Torah M’Tzion Street during the early morning hours on Wednesday. The victim, who also serves as a rosh kollel in Aish HaTorah was assaulted by the robbers, who then decided it was time to search for money.
One of them stood guard by the rav while the second began ransacking the home in search of money. They made off with cash and checks. The rav then summoned police who are investigating. The rav’s injuries are described as light.

whats too well known
They broke one of his ribs and took his safe. They knew what they were doing. Why is breaking a rib called slight injury?
