Transportation Minister Yisrael Katz has approved a direct line from Yerushalayim to the Ma’aras HaMachpelah in Hebron, beginning this week.

The Egged 383 line will be transporting mispallalim directly to and from the capital and the Machpelah. It leaves in the morning and runs a number of times during the afternoon hours from the Jerusalem Central Bus Station via the Cord’s Bridge and Malcha Mall with stops on the way. The fare is NIS 8.80 and Katz stated if the need arises, the line will begin operating more frequently.
