Israel Police last week received a report that tourists were mugged near Shar Shechem. The couple was approached near Sha’ar Shechem by four youths, who took their money and fled.

Police launched an investigation and made arrests, including a 16-year-old Arab teen from the area. He was arraigned and his remand was extended until Sunday, 7 Adar. His arrest led to the arrest of three other suspects, who were sent to house arrest.
