Bnei Brak Residents Fuming Over Construction

1Roadwork and the replacement of some traffic signals in Bnei Brak has resulted in some significant traffic jams over the past days. Many residents are fuming, insisting the work is being done in such a fashion that one cannot travel safely for as long as the work continues.

City Hall has been flooded with complaints from angry residents explaining the method by which the work is being carried out is unacceptable. Mayor Chanoch Zeibert explains it was believed the work was going to be completed in a few days with minimal inconvenience to residents but no one expected to see the reality which exists today.

Local Degel Hatorah official Rav Nosson Tzvi Cohen told Kikar Shabbos News the current situation is unacceptable. “Even if this work has to be done, it should have been pushed off until after the yomim tovim and not during a period during which there is great pressure surrounding shopping”.

  1. ”Rebbe yid”. A little respect wouldn’t be out of place towards Jews who choose to live their lives around Torah and be the “Yissochor”…
Perfect yourself first and then you’ll find that you will not need to look down on others !

  2. #Rebbe Yid – absolutely out of order! I’m hoping that you are not deluding yourself that hkbh is proud of people like you who make disparaging comments towards those who keep this world going with their Torah. You can be in the working world and show respect to those who sacrifice so much to learn. An apology is certainly in order….
