In the presence of rabbonim, a new MRI was dedicated in Bnei Brak’s Mayanei HaYeshua Hospital. Also present were Health Minister Yaakov Litzman, senior HMO officials and healthcare system leaders – a ceremony dedicated to R’ Zvi and Mrs. Betty Ryzman. The new unit is called the Zvi and Betty Ryzman Family MRI Unit.

Taking part in the event were Rav Elimelech Firer (Ezra L’Marpeh), Rav Chananya Zulik (Ezer Mizion), Rosh Yeshivas Ponevezh HaGaon HaRav Baruch Dov Povarsky Shlita, the Moditzer Rebbe Shlita, and Rosh Yeshivas Chevron HaGaon HaRav Yosef Chevroni Shlita.

The ceremonious event was opened by Mayanei HaYeshua Director-General Shlomo Rothschild, who introduced the VIP guests including the Health Minister. Minister Litzman thanked the donors, explaining when he assumed office there were 24 MRIs around Israel and today, there are 46.

Rav Zvi Ryzman addressed the event as well, explaining why it was so important for him to donate the MRI to Bnei Brak. He feels that amid the realization there are hundreds of thousands of residents, he felt the MRI was a necessity and giving it to Mayanei HaYeshua will save lives.

Letters addressing the event from HaGaon HaRav Chaim Kanievsky Shlita and HaGaon HaRav Aharon Yehuda Leib Shteinman Shlita were read during the dedication event as well.
