It was a stormy morning in Eilat on Wednesday, 3 Adar, as the southern tourist city was flooded in many areas.

Much of the run-off water traveled to the airport, leading to the closure for a few hours.

A few hundred school children had to be evacuated due to storm, which brought the harsh weather conditions from Egypt.

In northern Israel, authorities report 130 students were stranded on a trip and they too had to be rescued by the fire department.
