The district planning board covering the Petach Tikvah area has recently approved the construction of a new cemetery in the Rosh HaAyin area to address the critical shortage of burial plots in the area. City Hall officials and leaders of the chevra kadisha over recent months have been pushing for such a move, explaining Segulah Cemetery is all but full and there are no additional burial plots in the area.
