In its ongoing campaign to curtail violent crime in Israel, Israel Police continues efforts to locate and confiscate illegal weapons including in the Israeli Arab sector.

The following weapons were confiscated in the Israeli Arab sector in the past two weeks.

• Tuba – pipe bomb, LAW rocket and a pistol
• Majdal Shams – two fragmentation grenades.
• Dir el-Assad – a stun grenade
• Kfar Kana – 2 9mm pistols and a stun grenade
• Uawyana Nejudas – 9mm pistol
• Rama – a makeshift explosive device
• Tamra – Uzi machinegun and Kalashnikov assault rifle
• Mishad – two Walter P pistols
• Afula Illit – a 7.65mm pistol
• Tzfat – a gas grenade
• Tishan – a stun grenade

Total confiscated since the beginning of 2017:

• 16 assorted guns
• 25 pistols
• 14 grenades
• 3 bombs
• 1 LAW rocket
• 8 fireworks
• 100s of various caliber bullets
