Under the slogan “Turning technology to victory”, the city of Modi’in Illit was recognized by the Ministry of the Interior for its advancement in using technological innovation to improve municipal services for city residents.

The ministry prize was given out of acknowledgment of creating a revolutionary service interfacing tremendous scope to all residents of the city. the award refers to the e-government program that was launched in the city in 2012 and the program has since been mimicked in other municipalities.

The e-government provides many services including registering students, cultural initiatives, as well as a large volume of summer activities.
