Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman on Tuesday 25 Shevat visited the IDF’s Northern Command escorted by IDF Chief of Staff Lt.-General Gadi Eizenkott.

The senior minister also met with Golani Brigade commanders and troops involved in a training exercise in the Golan Heights, an exercise which also involved combat engineers, tank corps soldiers and artillery personnel in the Barak and Golan outposts.

After observing the forces involved in the exercise he applauded the number of mandatory service and reservist personnel participating, stating “Perhaps this is the best response to the many threats facing us across our borders. Anyone that does not see the Golani training exercise would be wise to hide in an underground bunker.
