A Druse soldier reported to police that he was assaulted in Migdal Ha’emek by a person who tried to make off with his M-16 weapon. The soldier was in an area gas station on Tuesday night when a lone attacker pounced on him and tried to wrestle his weapon away. The two got into a struggle according to the soldier’s report to police, compelling the attacker to flee.

Police are investigating.
