Some 700 mispalalim made their way to Kever Yosef in PA (Palestinian Authority) occupied Shechem on Wednesday night, under heavy IDF escort.
The area of the kever was supposed to remain open to permit “free Jewish access” as per the Oslo Agreement signed with the PA in 1993. This however is not the reality, and Jews are not granted free safe access to religious sites in PA autonomous areas since the governments since 1993 have not viewed these areas as national heritage treasures, failing to realize their responsibility to protect and treasure the holy sites as well as failing to realize the privilege of meriting the ability to visit these sites that were returned to Am Yisrael in the victory of the June 1967 Six Day War.
The sites have been defiled and damaged by the PA residents repeatedly, with Israel rarely acting if at all.
It is appropriate to mention that when a person was apprehended for spitting on the Har Herzl grave of Yitzchak Rabin, he was arrested and subjected to the full weight of the law. In a more recent case, a 16-year-old Cholon youth was taken into custody on Pesach for burning an Israeli flag
When Arabs burn and defile Kever Yosef and the Shalom Al Yisrael Shul in Yericho, the government does not respond.

Where is mr. obama when it comes to free access to Jewish holy sites that the Israeli government (stupidly) lets the arabs control?!?!?!
Where are the headlines “Racist Palestinians ban Jews from Joseph’s tomb” etc etc, In typical Arab style all areas run by the Palestinian Authority are no-go areas to the west. In a related incident… a bus of tourists took a wrong turn in an Arab neighbourhood and got mob attacked… come on- do we not have any influence on world press to play this up a bit.. they could sell a lot of newspapers with this new slant ?
