When Israel’s High Court of Justice ruled to evict the residents of Amona from their community, it also ruled that nine homes constructed in neighboring Yishuv Ofra are illegal and they too must be razed.

The nine families are hoping to save their homes from destruction and towards that goal, they are petitioning they petitioned the High Court of Justice on Monday, asking to have their homes sealed and not razed in the hope of one day being able to have their homes declared legal, depending heavily on the recent Knesset-passage of the Regulation Law.
