Shvelah district police reported on Thursday morning 20 Shevat that a young man who attempted to grab a soldier’s weapon was apprehended and taken into custody.

The attacker tried grabbing a weapon from a female soldier in Lod. The suspect was arraigned in the Petach Tikvah Magistrate Court on Thursday.

Police report the motive for his actions were criminal, and not terrorist.
