N’vei Yaakov Girls School and Talmud Torah Approved

The Jerusalem Chareidi Education Unit has succeeded in obtaining a NIS 14 million budget towards construction of 32 classrooms in Jerusalem’s N’vei Yaakov neighborhood. The situation in the northern neighborhood of the capital mimics that of chareidi areas elsewhere, severe overcrowding.

A new building is planned for talmid torah Toras Ha’emek and a second building will be constructed or the Hatznei’a Lechet Girls School.

Officials are optimistic that tenders for construction will be released in the coming weeks and the tractors will begin breaking ground soon. Chareidi education officials are hoping the projects will be completed in two years.
