Meretz MK Nissan Hurwitz was on hand on motzei shabbos, taking part in a Paris Square protest in Yerushalayim against mehadrin bus lines. They accused Minister of Transportation Yisrael Katz of caving in to chareidi pressure instead of remaining firm and adopting the Supreme Court ruling outlawing compelled segregated public bus service.
While Kadima leader Tzipi Livni did not take part, she did send a letter of support siding with the cause.
A bus carrying frum protestors arrived on the scene to counter the anti-mehadrin protest event.

I was there. The article ignores the participation of many datiim, both as speakers and in the audience.
Caving in to secular pressure is not a problem for the non-tolerant secular, but caving in to chareidi pressure is. What a bunch of hypocrites.
The Supreme Court, a.k.a. the Bais Din, did NOT outlaw compelled segregated public bus service. If anything, they requested it.
Any other court in the Jewish country have absolutely no say in the matter of laws pertaining Judaism. The small courts, including Beinish’s radical Leftist anti-Jewish-Arabic court should stick to justice regarding murderers and terrorists in this country.
This is beginning to remind me of the American south at the height of the civil rights movement.
Ironically, unlike the chareidim that do much of their protesting on Shabbos, this group waited until after Shabbos.
#4..they didnt wait till after shabbos… shabbos they go to football, swimming, movies so they did it on a work day. as if they are shomer shabbos, you misleader. and the chareidim dont ‘protest on shabbos’ only when chillil shabbos is involved then you do have to protest on shabbos… read up on your history..
#4 by the way what kind of yid are you? you say ‘..the chareidim…’ ‘ulefu shehotzi atzmo min haklall hakei es shinov’.so no wonder, one who is not shomer torah umitzvos and has westernized shmutzige kop and doesnt know the issues involved talks like you
