Defense Minister Ehud Barak on Thursday afternoon hosted US Vice President Joe Biden in the Defense Ministry, where the two met for about an hour, bringing the vice president’s three-day state visit to an end.
Undoubtedly Iran and the PA (Palestinian Authority) were on the agenda, and Mr. Barak proudly announced that he is working to “end the crisis”, determined to resume talks between Jerusalem and Ramallah.
Following the meeting, Mr. Barak accompanied the vice president on an aerial tour over Israel. Mr. Biden was then flown to Jordan to continue the next leg of his regional visit.
