An Iranian destroyer successfully test fired a “powerful and intelligent missile” named ‘Nour’ (light), commander of the Iranian Navy announced on Wednesday, the FARS agency reports.
“Jamaran has test-fired its different kinds of weapons during recent days and after that prepared itself for firing missiles and today in a marine exercise fired an intelligent missile,” Commander of the Iranian Army’s Naval Forces Rear Admiral Habibollah Sayyari said on Tuesday.
The naval commander added that “Torpedoes enjoy high intercepting power and have 100% destruction power.”
In the meantime, US Vice President Joe Biden visited Israel to pressure Jerusalem into agreeing not to attack Iran without a green light from the White House. US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton remains confident that if her crippling economic sanctions are only applied in a number of months, the timing will be sufficient to halt Iran’s goal of reaching nuclear independence and such a move will bring Tehran to its knees.
A senior officer in Israel’s military intelligence community earlier in the week told members of the Knesset Foreign Affairs & Defense Committee that even if the crippling sanctions are applied, experts in Israel believe they will not achieve the intended goal, namely halting Iran’s nuclear program.

If only Israel could find a way to get Persian and Arab missles to turn back on those who launch them.
This guy is now in Kabul, Afghanistan and he visits the united states pretty frequently. Why can’t he be assassinated or at least arrested? It’ll be a lot cheaper and easier than a war.
You have to admit! The Iranians have shafted Israel like never before in Israel’s modern history! Iran is a hell of a power to reckon with and more so for Israel.
