Iranian Defense Minister General Ahmad Vahidi released a statement to the media that Tehran is now producing extremely accurate long-range radar-evading cruise missiles. Speaking on state-run television on Sunday, the senior Iranian official announced the missile is called ‘Nasr 1’ and the state-of-the-art missile is capable of eliminating targets up to 100 tons in size.
The general added that while at present, the missiles are launched from a stationary site; development is underway to permit firing them from submarines and helicopters.
