Some three weeks after a number of barrels laden with explosives washed ashore along a number of Israeli beaches, another suspicious barrel washed ashore on shabbos, on the Palmachim Beach.

Bomb demolition experts were summoned and it appears that while the barrel did not contain explosives, authorities are not ruling out a possible connection to the previous barrels which did contain explosives which Hamas claims were sent to the Israeli shore from Gaza.
