Full Benefits for IDF Soldiers Discharged Prematurely

The Ministerial Legislative Committee on Monday approved a bill sponsored by ML (Likud) Chaim Katz, stating IDF combat soldiers discharged before completing their 36 months of mandatory service due to injury, will receive the standard discharge assistance package. This refers to the current NIS 36,180 discharge compensation given to combatants and NIS 30,132 for combat-support troops, as they are referred to.

Katz is now optimistic that his bill will be passed into law by the end of the current Knesset session.
