A police chopper circled overhead on shabbos as police closed in, arresting at least 5 people believed connected to the abduction of a businessman in Ramle, demanding NIS 350,000 in ransom money.
The family telephoned police on Friday night, explaining that abductors forced their way into the home and took the businessman with them, later making ransom demands from the family. At the time of this report, Sunday morning, the man has yet to be returned to his family.
