After seven years of toil, an agreement was finally signed for the kindergartens affiliated with Agudas Yisrael.
The agreement signed by Education Minister Gideon Saar will bring badly needed assistance towards rehabilitating the ailing kindergarten network which is in serious debt. Saar met earlier this week with Deputy Education Minister R’ Meir Porush and the chairman of the Knesset Finance Committee, R’ Moshe Gafne, hoping to find a solution to the problem.
The agreement permits the state to infuse funds into the system, as well as to make severance payments to persons fired some time ago.
