Adar is usually associated with cold and wet weather, and while we have merited an abundance of rain in recent weeks, this month is off to a hot dry beginning, void of the badly needed rainfall.

Forecasters on Wednesday predict current weather conditions, the unseasonably warm weather, will continue through shabbos. Temperatures in some areas on Wednesday are expected to reach 28C (83F), dropping down to 23C (74F) later in the week, but increasing again on shabbos.

While the pleasant temperatures are enjoyed by most, only a number of weeks remain in the winter rain season and we can only hope Am Yisrael will merit an abundance of rainfall during those weeks.
