Undercover Investigation Leads to Operation Selling Fake Entry Permits to Green Line Israel

Undercover agents succeeded in infiltrating a ring which reportedly sold hundreds of forged entry permits for PA (Palestinian Authority) residents seeking to cross into Green Line Israel.

Agents from a number of government agencies earlier in the week appeared in the homes of a number of agriculture industry employers suspected of involvement in the permits for profit operation.

It appears each permit sold for NIS thousands, permitting PA residents to cross into Israel proper, compromising security efforts to prevent entry of terrorists and PA residents appearing on security watch lists.

The operation has been in existence for a number of years and has netted NIS millions, with officials learning that in recent months alone, hundreds of illegals crossed into ‘Israel proper’ with their permits.
