A special hachnasas Sefer Torah is taking place in the Kiryat Moshe shul of Rishon L’Tzion Maran Rav Mordechai [Tzemach ben Mazel] Eliyahu Shlita, who remains in very serious condition in Shaare Zedek Medical Center.

Rabbonim Shlita decided not to host a major seudas mitzvah and have musical accompaniment with a van leading a procession as is customary in Yerushalayim, but there will be a modest kiddush and the recital of tehillim on behalf of the Rav instead.

The Sefer Torah was written in honor of the Rav and with tefillos for a refuah shleima, with many many donations coming from anonymous well-wishers concerned with the Rav’s condition.
