2:04PM IL: Rabbi Yosef [ben Gratzya] Azran Shlita, the chief rabbi of Rishon L’Tzion and a former deputy minister for Shas is reported in extremely critical condition. His family is at his side in a Paris hospital.

The rabbi was scheduled to undergo a liver transplant today, Wednesday, but during the early morning hours, suffered a heart attack, now reported on life support in “extremely critical condition”.
