MK (Ichud HaLeumi) Dr. Michael Ben-Ari has submitted a bill that would demand a four year cooling-down period before a Knesset speaker would be permitted to submit his name as a candidate for the position of president.
The move is obviously intended directly against current speaker, MK Reuven Rivlin, who is a political nemesis of Ben-Ari. Rivlin did not hide his disdain for Ben-Ari recently when he offered MKs to travel to Poland to take part in the annual memorial marking the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau.
Rivlin explained to the media that he did not ask Ben-Ari if he wishes to participate since he did not feel the death camp was a place for “bigots”, referring to Ben-Ari’s philosophy, a follower of Rabbi Meir Kahane HY”D.

Is it considered “bigotry” to want to remove a fifth column from one’s country?!?!
I would consider it insanity to NOT want to do so.
